Brazil´s coastline is famous for stunning kitesurf possibilities. Also the area around Ilha do Guajirú offers amazing downwinders with perfect conditions for experienced riders. We are happy to organize a guided trip for groups or individuals.
Almofala
The downwind adventure starts in Almofala, a little fishermen’s town 15 km upwind of Ilha, which we reach by car. This is an experience you can't miss: riding waves at the sea and enjoying the flat water of the river, surrounded by mangroves, ending up right at the school in Ilha.
Volta do rio & Espraiado
This is an easy and short trip for experienced riders as well as those who want to do their first downwinder. We are launching at the school in Ilha and reach a beautiful local barraca after 5 km. The downwinder can be extended until Espraiado (about 15 km). Amazing scenery guaranteed!
